This Privacy Policy explains how Dawn Feldpausch, LCSW, doing business as (dba) Discreet Therapy (“Discreet Therapy,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and safeguards information through this website.

This website is for advertising and informational purposes only. It is not a HIPAA-secure platform. Clinical services and all Protected Health Information (PHI) are handled separately through SimplePractice, a HIPAA-compliant platform.

4. HIPAA & Appointment Requests

  • This website is not HIPAA-compliant. Do not include PHI in website forms or emails.

  • Clicking the “Request Appointment” button will redirect you to SimplePractice, which is HIPAA-compliant.

  • All PHI shared in SimplePractice is governed by HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP), provided when services begin.

  • Clicking “Request Appointment” does not, by itself, establish a therapist-client relationship.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent personal data. Information may be disclosed only to:

  • HIPAA-compliant platforms (SimplePractice)

  • Service vendors supporting website operations

  • Legal or regulatory authorities, if required by law

  • Website data: retained per third-party provider policies

  • Therapy records: retained in SimplePractice in compliance with HIPAA and Florida law
